A Museum in Eleftherna

 A museum will be recently added in the archaeological site of Eleftherna, Greece.
 
After the acceptance of the plan proposed by Director Prof. N. Stampolides by the State archaeological authorities, the museum which will host the treasures brought to light in the world-famous early Iron Age archaeological site will be ready by autumn 2012.
 
The museum will be the first operating at the center of an archaeological park in Crete and will include exhibition as well as storage area. The finds will be shown in three groups: a. State and Private life, b. Cults and Sanctuaries and c. Funerary customs and necropoleis. In addition, there will be rooms for multiple uses, info-centers and other facilities.
