Neoclassical funerary monuments in the Chalkida cemetery

In the cemetery of Chalkida, which was founded in 1840, a number of Neoclassical funerary monuments have survived. They are the work of sculptors from the island of Tinos. The photos illustrating this article have been published by permission of the commercial Bank of Greece. The archive has been created under the Photographic Archive of Neoclassical Architecture supervised by the archaeologist Dr. A. Kokkou.
