On April 13th, 1995 the permanent exhibition of the collection of Roman sculpture of the National Archaeological Museum was opened. This exhibition continues and completes the presentation of sculpture in the first museum floor, so that when the visitor leaves, he has obtained a full picture of the evolution of the ancient Greek sculpture, the most important product of the artistic activity of Greeks, which has affected and decisively marked the entire route of European sculpture.
