Elena Kountouri, The Archaeological Museum of Chaeronea,

The commemorative volume The Archaeological Museum of Chaeronea, by archaeologist and Director of the Directorate of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture, as well as Acting Director of the Ephorate of Antiquities of Athens, Dr. Elena Kountouri, was recently presented by LAMDA Development in Athens Olympic Museum. This is the twenty-third volume in the multi-volume series “Museums Cycle”, a publishing initiative of the John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation.

The volume features finds—most of which are unpublished—from three significant ancient cities in northern Boeotia: Chaeronea, Orchomenos, and Livadeia, as well as from the border city of Phocis, Panopeus.
