The next round table of the ‘Circolo Linguistico Fiorentino’ (Università degli Studi di Firenze) will focus on the “Ancient Indo-European Languages and their Neighbours” through a debate between two top experts in the field. Invited speakers are:
Prof. Michaël Peyrot (Leiden University) – Language contact and grammar: How language contact has influenced Tocharian grammar, and how grammar helps to identify language contact
Prof. Federico Giusfredi (University of Verona) – Peoples and languages of Anatolia:
the context of Palaic and its historical implications
