Speakers: Sia Anagnostopoulou (Associate Professor of Late Ottoman and Turkish History, Panteion University), Pavlos Kavouras (Professor of Cultural Anthropology and Ethnomusicology). The discussion will be coordinated by Kostis Kornetis (Assistant Professor of History, New York University).
Three Ottoman court music compositions of Dimitrie Cantemir (1673-1723) will be performed by Evgenios Voulgaris (yayli tanbur) and Sergios Voulgaris (kudüm)
