The Belgian School at Athens is happy to announce its forthcoming conference of “Charon’s obol”. An international panel of specialists, a multinational collaboration, and an exciting subject promising very interesting methodological study cases from all over the Mediterranean.
The conference will not be focusing exclusively on coins, but will address questions of context, of recording excavation coins, and comparing the evidence from the Mediterranean world with information from Northern European sites.
