The exhibition “Fragments. Ceramic finds from Byzantine and Medieval Nicosia” opens at the Cyprus Museum on May 18. It will run until February 6.
On Saturday, May 18, 2013, the Cyprus Museum will be open 9.00 a.m. – 11.00 p.m. and entry will be free. This year at the Cyprus Museum, celebrations for International Museum Day and European Night of Museums will be combined.
6.00 – 7.30 p.m. Guided tours of the museum (in English).
7.30 p.m. Opening of the exhibition “Fragments. Ceramic finds from Byzantine and Medieval Nicosia”, Temporary Exhibition Hall (in collaboration with the Leventis Municipal Museum)
8.30 – 11.00 p.m. Reception in the Museum gardens with live music by “Kind of Brass”, a wind instrument band performing music from the Mediterranean, the Balkans, Latin America etc.
