The archaeological surveys of Plotinopolis

The upcoming Roman Seminar will be given by Μ. Κoutsoumanis (Rodope Ephorate of Antiquities). Mr Koutsoumanis will talk about the archaeological surveys conducted in Plotinopolis / Thrace. The title of the lecture is “Πλωτινόπολη. Το χρονικό της αρχαιολογικής έρευνας”.

The Roman Seminar is an initiative supported by four institutions (German Archaeological Institute, Benaki Museum, National Hellenic Research Foundation – Institute of Historical Research, Swiss School of Archaeology in Greece). It aims to strengthen and advance scientific research and knowledge of Greece’s Roman past.
