The exhibition “Leaving a Mark on History. Treasures from Greek Museums” will be inaugurated in Sofia, at the Archaeological Museum, on Thursday, November 7, at 6.00 p.m. and will run until February 15, 2014. The exhibition was previously shown in the Regional Archeological Museum of Plovdiv (May 30 – October 30, 2013).
The exhibition, with 195 works of antiquity, presents part of the collections of National Archeological Museum in Athens and the Numismatic Museum in Athens.
The exhibition aims to present rare and unique objects that “leave their mark” on history, either as portraits of historical personalities, or as primary sources of major historical and political facts, or as universal social, religious and cultural ideas and values.
