Professor John Darwin (University of Oxford) will address the topic “The Levant and Global History.” The lecture will be followed by a book launch: The Greeks and the British in the Levant, 1800-1960s Between Emprires and Nations. Edited by Anastasia Yiangou, George Kazamias and Robert Holland.
The event is organized by the British School at Athens in association with the Department of History, University of Athens.
