The volume Conflict and Competition: Agon in Western Greece,edited by Heather L. Reid, John Serrati and Tim Sorg, considers agōn from a variety of disciplinary perspectives, with a special emphasis on Western Greece – the ancient Hellenic cities of Sicily and Southern Italy. The session will feature short presentations from Rebecca H. Sinos, featured scholar, and from the editors.
