Conservation Center Open House 2025

On Monday, November 3, from 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm, the Conservation Center opens its doors for self-guided tours. Come visit the labs where conservation students will discuss their current research and treatments. Some student projects on view will include:

-St. Apollonia Prayer Card, engraving with die-cut lace edge detail

-14th century Venetian School Madonna and Child

-20th century reverse glass decorated jewelry box

-16th-century panel painting of Lucrezia Romana by the Italian artist Giampietrino

-Archaeological earthenware vessel

-16th century Renaissance engraving

-17th-century Portrait of Giuseppe Renato Imperial by Giovanni Battista Gaulli

-Medieval manuscript leaf with illuminated initial
