Dr. Christos Tsirogiannis (University of Cambridge) will give a lecture on “Greece and the International Antiquities Market.”
Through a variety of case-studies, Dr Tsirogiannis will explore the role of the Greek State in relation to the modern international antiquities trade and the extent to which these cases enable us to broaden our knowledge of criminal activities within this market. The talk will cover repatriations won, opportunities missed and claims ongoing.
