Τhe Leventis Municipal Museum of Nicosia and The Association of Friends of the Leventis Museum present an exhibition of educational character, entitled “A Journey into the History of Cyprus through artworks by Despo Frederickou”.
Artist and educator Despo Frederickou reshapes the past in images, symbols, allegories and creatively depicted messages that visitors, especially children, are invited to interpret.
Paintings, sculptures and small art-installations, created during the period between 1965-2016, endeavour t otake us on a journey into the long History of Cyprus by means of a retrospective artistic path. The exhibition brings together objects, events and people from the birth of the island to this day.
