Prof. George Papatheodorou & Dr Maria Geraga will address the topic “Maritime Geophysical Survey of the Ancient and Medieval Harbour of Kyllene”.
The Kyllene Harbour Project (2007-2017) is a joint project of the Finnish Institute at Athens and the Ephorate of Underwater Antiquities and it has been conducted in collaboration with the Universities of the Patras, Peloponnese and Mainz.
The team from the Laboratory of Marine Geology and Physical Oceanography (Department of Geology, University of Patras) has been responsible for the marine geophysical surveys.
The lecture is organized by the Finnish Institute at Athens.
