Prof. Marco Galli (“Sapienza” University, Rome) will address the topic “From East to West: the embassy from Mytilene and the first celebrations of Augustus”, in the framework of the Roman Seminar series.
The Roman Seminar is an initiative supported by four institutions: the German Archaeological Institute, the Benaki Museum, the National Hellenic Research Foundation – Institute of Historical Research and the Swiss School of Archaeology in Greece. It aims to strengthen and advance scientific research and knowledge of Greece’s Roman past.
