Next numismatic seminar will be given by Eleni Lianta (Archaeological department of Thessaloniki Metro). The lecture will focus on: “The testimony of two “hoards” of billon aspra trachea from 13th c. Thessaloniki”. Mrs Lianta will present the results of the archaeological investigations conducted at the Thessaloniki subway and starting from the hoard evidence she will investigate coin production and circulation in Thessaloniki! Exciting results are to be presented.
