This year’s second Numismatic webinar is taking place Monday, December 7th 2020.
Elena Bonelou (Ephorate of Antiquities of Kerkyra) will discuss
“Το νομισματοκοπείο της Λευκάδας. Η ιστορία του νησιού μέσα από το νόμισμά του” (The Mint of Leukas. The history of the island seen through its coins). The lecture will be delivered in Greek but discussion and questions can be asked in English as well.

The Numismatic Meetings, organized by the Belgian School at Athens (EBSA), the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, the National Hellenic Research Foundation (EIE), the French School at Athens (EfA) and the German Archaeological Institute at Athens (DAI Athen), aim at promoting ongoing numismatic research. All lectures are followed by discussion where attendees are also invited to take the floor and ask questions to the speaker if they wish.
