The AMPAH 2018-2019 organising committee is pleased to announce the second call for papers for the next Annual Meeting of UK and Eire Postgraduates in Ancient History (AMPAH). The meeting will be hosted by the Faculty of Classics of the University of Cambridge on 16th March 2019.

The organising committee now invites postgraduate students to submit proposals for papers. Papers should last about 20 minutes, and will be followed by a further ten minutes for discussion. Topics can cover any area of Ancient History, including the history and historiography of Classical Greece and Rome, the ancient Near East and
Egypt, Late Antiquity and the Byzantine Empire, and of comparable
periods of world history.

Abstracts should be no more than 300 words, and should be sent as a PDF
file to the following email address: [email protected] .

Applicants should make sure to include the following personal information in the document: name; institutional and departmental affiliation; email address;
postgraduate status (e.g. PhD).

The deadline for submission is Friday, 14th December 2018.

Final decisions, and details about the registration process, will be communicated by the end of January 2019.
