The Department of Classics, Ancient History and Archaeology of the University of Birmingham is looking to appoint a teaching fellow (0.4) to teach modules in Roman history and culture to replace a colleague for a period of research leave.
The position is a fixed-term appointment for twelve months from 1 September 2020.
The successful candidate will have: a PhD in classics/ancient history; the expertise to teach in the area specified in the job particulars; experience of teaching in a university department or equivalent; fluent written and spoken English. Ability to also teach Latin Language could be an advantage.
The interviews will likely be conducted over Skype or similar.
