The University of Liverpool’s Work in Progress Seminar Series for Archaeology, Classics, and Egyptology now invites submissions for Semester 2’s schedule. This series offers postgraduate and early career scholars opportunities to present their research and to engage in constructive dialogue with our ever-growing interdisciplinary academic audience.

The seminars will take place on Wednesdays between 5 and 6 p.m. throughout the semester in hybrid format. Presentations may focus on any aspect of the ancient
world and/or its reception, and should last 20–40 minutes (with the remaining time being available for Q&A). Successful submissions will pitch presentations that will be accessible to an academic audience of Archaeologists, Classicists, and Egyptologists.

In your email to us, please let us know whether you currently intend to present in person or online. Please offer us as wide a range of potential dates as possible to maximize our ability to offer you a spot.
