The exhibition “Leaving a Mark on History. Treasures from Greek Museums”, with 195 works of antiquity, will be inaugurated on May 30 in the Regional Archeological Museum in Plovdiv of Bulgaria.
The exhibition presents part of the collections of National Archeological Museum in Athens and the Numismatic Museum in Athens.
It will be on show from May 31st until October 30, 2013. Then will be transferred to the Archeological Museum in Sofia, where it will be hosted until February 15, 2014.
The exhibition aims to present rare and unique objects that “leave their mark” on history, either as portraits of historical personalities, or as primary sources of major historical and political facts, or as universal social, religious and cultural ideas and values.
