The University of Navarre offers the possibility of excavating a Roman city in Spain—Los Bañales de Uncastillocombining this experience with Spanish Language and Culture Course at Pamplona.

The course is 1 or 2 weeks of study in a Roman archaeological site where students will be able to learn the techniques of archaeological fieldwork combined with theoretical workshops about archaeological excavation and archaeological techniques and methods, Roman pottery cataloguing, history and culture of the classical world. Students will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the local culture of the area in the north of Aragon, at the heart of the historical Cinco Villas.
