The well known artist created a new mural depicting a girl holding a sling shot aiming at a bunch of red flowers in the sky. The locals had already “suspected” that the creator of this particular mural was Banksy by naming it “Valentine’s Day Banksy” before he himself acknowledged it.
“Today in Barton Hill, we woke up with this remarkable mural art painted on one of the houses of the area”, Bristol’s Somali Community Association wrote on Twitter. “We hope it’s Banksy’s work. Come and have a look yourself. Whoever painted it, it’s worth admiring their creativity. We thank him”.
Banksy posted his new work on Instagram. The building’s owners are planning to protect it with a plexiglas covering.
