On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the foundation of the German Archaeological Institute at Athens, a series of lectures in 2024 will be devoted to individual projects of the DAI Athens. The highlights of the programme for the first half of the year will be the lecture given by the former DAI President Helmut Kyrieleis on the 21st of February, the official opening of the exhibition on the history of DAI Athens on the 22nd of March and the annual report of the President of the DAI Prof. Friederike Fless followed by a keynote speech by Ortwin Dally on the 15th of May. In the second half of the year, the institute’s anniversary will be celebrated with a ceremony and a conference.
The events are hybrid: you can attend either in-person at the DAI Athens (without registration) or online via zoom.
