Intercultural contacts between the Ancient Near East and the Mediterranean is the topic of the conference taking place at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), Greece. The conference is co-organized by the Faculty of Theology AUTh and the Department of Archaeology and Ancient Near East, Institute of Archaeology, Hebrew University of Jerusalem (HUJI).
Presentations concern the various kinds of relations between the Greeks and ancient Israel, Egypt, Mesopotamia, and even India, with a special emphasis on original sources.
