“Tutankhamun’s Life, Death, and Afterlife: New Evidence from Thebes,” is the subject of the Fifteenth Annual William J. Murnane Memorial Lecture which will take place as an online YouTube event.
In the lecture, Dr. W. Raymond Johnson (Director, Epigraphic Survey, Luxor, Egypt, and
Research Associate Professor, Department of Near Eastern Languages
and Civilizations of the University of Chicago) will analyze recently uncovered archeological and epigraphic material that sheds light on Tutankhamun’s reign.
