The article deals with the deciphering of the original decorative “writing” of the Siphnian Treasure that was created by the architect and the sculptor – probably an architect-sculptor of the monument, who was responsible for the initial lay out of a complete and unified decorative scheme. The author reaches the conclusion that the free representation of the subjects in the zophoros was deliberately disciplined in the eternal order of geometry and mathematics. Thus, an imaginary net of harmonic lines is created that covers the entire zophoros and contributes tο the thematologic and aesthetic analysis of the animated frieze. Furthermore, the elevation of the building itseIf follows the same ratios and order prevailing in the zophoros.
