The Greek Folk Art Museum has created two types of portable, educational units, the “Pandora’s Chest” and “Museum Chat”. The “Pandora’s Chest” includes representative, authentic objects from the museum’s collections. They have so been chosen as to serve properly the educational program and the museum staff, who accompany the kit, to the various schools where it is sent.
The “Museum Chat” includes audiovisual material that refers to the Greek Folk Art sectors, relevant objects in miniature scale, printed information and ideas for creative handicrafts. It is lent out to schools for a defined period of time.
