Five tholos tombs near Volos, Greece, will be soon accessible to visitors thanks to a European Union funding project. The tombs are located in Aerino and were found during construction work on the Greek National Highway. Apart from those five tombs, the site contains more tombs from all periods as well as elements of a Middle Bronze Age settlement. As for the site restoration plan, it contains securing the monuments, protecting the site from ground water, creating information kiosks and visitors’ paths.
