The whole world’s history and myth through a number of antique maps can be discovered in an exhibition that takes place in the Island of Hydra, Greece up to the 30th of April.
The map collection is the work of a medical doctor and professor in the Athens Medical School, Panagiotis Soukakos, who traveled the globe for 30 years to acquire them.
The maps presented represent history and religion as well as historical moments through satire and they date from 1579 to 1920.
