Having come “face to face” with Myrtis eight years ago, we will now meet Avgi, coming to us from 7000 BC and the dawn of civilization, in a special event taking place on January 19, 2018 from 17.00 -21.00 at the Acropolis Museum.

The following speakers will participate: Theodoros G. Yannopoulos, Dimitris Dikaios, Nina Kyparissi-Apostolika, Elias Mamalakis, Yannis Metzikof, Theofanis Bobotis, Manolis J. Papagrigorakis, Alexia Pentheroudaki, Sophocles Soteriou, Panagiotis Emmanouil Tavaniotis, Panagiotis Toulas, Nikos Filippas and Konstantinos Christodoulou, with journalist/philologist Vicky Flessa as coordinator.

Admission is free.

The aim of the reconstruction team, instigated by Manolis Papagrigorakis is also to present, before another eight years go by, the third reconstruction of Hedyle, the small girl from Feres with the “sweet” name, who was found in a grave with an inscribed headstone by her father.
