The call for papers for the annual meeting of the British Association for Near Eastern Archaeology (BANEA) has been extended until 2 February 2018.

The conference will be held in Durham from Tuesday 27-Thursday 29 March 2018.

Papers on the Classical-Roman Eastern Med, Anatolia, Near East or North Africa are very much encouraged.

List members may be interested in contributing to some of the following session proposals:

-Landscapes of Empires

-Current Fieldwork

-Endangered Archaeology in the Middle East and North Africa: Research from Heritage Protection

-Approaches to Visual Culture

-Achaemenid Archaeology and History

-Remembering Eddie Peltenburg
