The Museum of Byzantine Culture is pleased to reopen its doors to the public from Monday, 15 June, daily with extended working hours from 08:00 to 20:00.

After the necessary reduction of our communication exclusively by digital means, during the corona-virus pandemic, our exhibition program reopens in full extend.

In addition to the 11 galleries of the Museum’s permanent exhibition, visitors have the opportunity to enjoy two temporary exhibitions of the Museum:

“Two collections meet” in the wing of temporary exhibitions “Kyriakos Krokos”. Duration until 31 December 2020. Entrance free.

“Gifts: short stories for new acquisitions” in the multipurpose hall “Eftychia Kourkoutidou-Nikolaidou”. Duration until 30 September 2020. Entrance free.

Also, our program for a rich cultural summer includes concerts in the main atrium of the Museum and collaborations with other organizations of our city.

The Museum has taken all the necessary hygiene measures to protect its employees and visitors.
