The International Workshop on Current Research in Textile Archaeology along the Nile (second edition) will be held at the University of Copenhagen, Centre for Textile Research, Saxo Institute on 5-6 December 2022.The aim of the workshop is to bring together researchers in archaeology, but also philology and iconography to discuss issues related to textiles in Ancient Egypt and Sudan and their current state of art, from different perspectives.

The workshop will take place in Copenhagen in person on 5-6 December 2022 and it will consist of two parts: the first day of the workshop will be dedicated to presentations, while the second day will propose hands-on experiments on flax (only for speakers).
