The Department of Archaeology and Ancient History at Uppsala University has recently expanded its didactic offer to include a full undergraduate (BA) and postgraduate (MA and PhD) programme in Egyptology.

With four Egyptology faculty members covering all main aspects of the discipline and periods of Egyptian antiquity, an Egyptology study collection at the Museum Gustavianum (Uppsala University’s museum of art and archaeology), and active fieldwork projects in Egypt, the programme offers an all-round training in the discipline at all levels.

All courses are taught in English.
