Take in three days of presentations from leading researchers in ancient Egypt and Nubia. The title for the Nov. 2 Symposium is “Aswan: Source of Wonders” and features a keynote lecture by Cornelius von Pilgrim, Director of the Swiss Institute in Cairo, with other featured speakers: Jitse Dijkstra, University of Ottawa; Gayle Gibson, ROM and SSEA V-P; Kate Liszka, director of the Wadi el-Hudi Project; Alejandro Jimenez-Serrano of Jaen University; and Oren Siegel of the U of T.
The Scholars’ Colloquium days on Nov. 1 and 3 feature a wide variety of doctoral and professional researchers from around the world speaking on their latest insights
