Contributions can now be submitted to session #208 “Bridging the Gaps: Multi-, Inter- and Transdisciplinary Approaches to Ancient Egyptian Settlements”
(Theme 1: On artefacts and beyond) for the 31st EAA 2025 Annual Meeting.
This regular session is organised by Eva A. Calomino and Uroš Matić.
This session aims to address multi-, inter-, and transdisciplinary approaches to the study of domestic contexts and settlements in ancient Egypt, and seeks to describe, complement and create ways of interpreting the activities carried on in such spaces from the study of objects and structures. We welcome papers from various contexts and from all periods of ancient Egyptian history and surrounding areas (e.g., Levant and Nubia) that contribute to a greater understanding of the urban areas and domestic spaces.
