The Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki will host the international hybrid conference titled “Early and Classical Ottoman Architecture in Macedonia and Thrace (14th–16th centuries)”.

The conference is held under the auspices of the Department of History and Archaeology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). The organizers of the conference are:

Paschalis Androudis (Associate Professor of Byzantine and Islamic Archaeology and Art at AUTH)

Ayşegül Kılıç (Ottomanist and Associate Professor at Trakya University, Edirne)

Dimitris Loupis (Historian – MA in Ottoman Studies, Harvard University, and PhD candidate at the Department of History and Archaeology, AUTH)

The working language of the conference will be English.
