Archaelogical restoration also includes the restoration of excavational finds, movable or not. Its role and contribution are very important because, due to its intervention, the shock and the disastrous effects to which the finds are subjected at the critical moment of their discovery, are minimized and smoothed. Therefore, restoration has, in addition, a preventable character, since if done correctly and in time during an excavation, it will make unnecessary a lot of restoration work in the future.
