As a complement to the many seminars already flourishing in Athens, in January 2015 the Swedish Institute introduces the Athens Greek Religion Seminar. The seminar will provide a platform for presentations of work in progress as well as a forum for discussions of current research trends and new literature, for all scholars working in the field of ancient Greek religion and active in Athens.
All seminars will be held at the Swedish Institute, Mitseon 9.
The first lecture will be given by Soi Agelidis (German Archaeological Institute of Athens) on January 27, 2015, who will address the topic “Naming Ades”.
