The call for the 2018 International Summer School of Archaeological Science offered by Petnica Science Center (Valjevo, Serbia) is now open. Students of Archaeology, Science and related fields are invited to apply for a ten-day experience. Our interactive program is focused on a personalized training analysis of materials and accompanying documentation which will provide our participants with international knowledge required by the modern standards in archaeological research. A maximum audience of 10 participants is required for this year and the call is open to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Petnica 2018 ISSAS participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate issued by the organizers, with a detailed curriculum of the Summer School.
Petnica 2018 ISSAS Application: For Petnica 2018 ISSAS, which will take place from August 5th to 15th 2018 at Petnica Science Center (Serbia), candidates are invited to submit their applications before the midnight of May 31st 2018 (Central European Time). The application documentation must include a CV and a brief letter of motivation (max. 300 words) which explains why the candidate should be considered as a participant in this year’s edition of the academic program. Petnica 2018 ISSAS Participation fees: The participation cost for the accepted participants is 500 EURO. This fee includes accommodation, three daily meals, full academic expenses, tuition, a field trip, expenses for laboratory materials, and the final certificate. The accepted participants will be requested to pay the participation fee after being accepted and before coming to Petnica 2018 ISSAS
