Furthermore, The SSEA/SÉÉA is also holding its 44th Annual Symposium on NOVEMBER 7th. The Colloquium is held in conjunction with the SSEA’s annual Egyptology Symposium, held on November 7th. The topic for this year’s Symposium is Tombs of the Theban Hills. It will also be held virtually, using Zoom. More information about the program for the weekend will be forthcoming. We look forward to receiving abstracts from scholars from around the world and invite your submission with eager anticipation. In addition, papers accepted for the Scholars’ Colloquium are not limited to the topic of the symposium; no preference will be given to proposals based on the topic. Please also note that the SSEA is soliciting proposals for the SSEA Scholars’ Colloquium only.

All participants in the Scholars’ Colloquium will be expected to pay the appropriate registration fee in advance.
