The local community of Mesopotamos has decided to create for the first time a website and a digital guided tour promoting the archaeological and religious monuments of the area.
The website presents monuments within the village of Mesopotamos: the Nekromanteio of Acheron and the Mycenaean acropolis of Efira, as well as the Byzantine Monastery of Agios Dimitrios and ancient Pandosia.
The site also features the monastery of Saint Paraskevi and the Holy Monastery of Saint Dimitrios Zalongos, destinations of religious pilgrimage. The list of monuments further includes places connected with the Homeric epics.
The website is in Greek, English, German, Arabic, Turkish, Italian and Russian.
