In this group high school teachers present the possible combinations of the school curriculum with courses on the Acropolis. The first two are teachers of Ancient Greek Litterature.
These possibilities are presented through the original texts in the first paper. In the next, a teacher who escorted her 7th grade pupils to the open day programme “A Day at the Acropolis”, compiled an anthology of the various approaches of these students in the following years through the opportunities the curriculum offers. Environmental Education can give a big impulse to teaching through our cultural environment. This huge potential is presented in depth in the next paper which is a report of a four day seminar for fifty-seven teachers organised by the Acropolis Ephorate and the Ministry of Education. Interdisciplinary appoaches are analysed in depth and the report concludes with the evaluation of the seminar.
