Egypt Exploration Society (EES) is pleased to announce the fifth Ministry of Antiquities / Egypt Exploration Society Delta Survey Workshop, which will take place on Thursday 6th and Friday 7th April 2017 at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.

This workshop aims, as before, to present a venue in which colleagues can share their research and fieldwork at Delta sites over the past two years. There will be a number of themed sessions during the workshop, including: site rescue, new field methods, and palaeoenvironmental reconstruction, but we will also have sessions to focus upon the new results of your fieldwork.

For the first time there will be a number of ‘break out’ sessions during the workshop that will focus on a number of key issues; these will be detailed in the second circular. We welcome additional ideas for these sessions. 

Please write to us at [email protected] to register your interest in attending, and include a title/theme if you wish to give a 20 minute spoken paper, or submit a poster. We invite abstracts of 250 words in length to be submitted to the same email address no later than 1st December 2016.
