Once again this year the Embassy of Greece in Cyprus supports the 3rd International Festival of Archaeological, Ethnographic and Historical Documentaries (A.E.I Festival 2020), which will take place from September 10- 13 2020, at the Athalassa Environmental Information and Education Center.
This is a cultural activity by the Non-Profit Organization of the A.E.I AUDIOVISUAL FORUM, in collaboration with the Department of Forests, the Municipality of Aglantzia and the documentary production company Tetraktys, and has already become established in the Cypriot cultural scene.
The Festival offers a rich programme of screenings (23 documentaries from Cyprus, Greece, Australia, Chile, Czech Republic, Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland, Portugal, Lebanon, United Kingdom, Turkey, Japan and Iran) and remarkable activities on the side (thematic tours, , experiential workshops for children of 6-12 years old on archaeology, the environment, traditional pottery and music , educational activities for film professionals) . Its aim is to promote cultural, historical, ethnographic and archaeological documentaries and to disseminate the culture and history of Cyprus, but also to promote intercultural dialogue and communication.
